1. Two works are required: One piece from the baroque or classical period and another piece from a contrasting period (romantic, impressionistic, or contemporary classical). Each piece must be by a separate composer.
2. All works must be performed from memory.
3. The wind and string instruments must be accompanied by piano.
4. If deemed necessary by the Board, Liana Cohen Music competition reserves the right to limit the total number of contestants. Therefore, it is in each contestant's best interest to register as soon as possible.
5. Tapes, DVDs, or CDs are not required to enter the competition. Please do not submit recordings with the application.
6. Any Applicant who gives inaccurate or misleading information, or submits an incomplete application, may be disqualified.
7. Contacting Jury members before or during the competition is not allowed. Any violation of this rule may result in disqualification.
8. Winners will receive the results of the competition by mail.
9. In the event of any recordings, all contestants shall renounce any claim and fees. All rights belong to Liana Cohen Foundation.

Awards:

1. Finalists will perform on the night of the concert.
2. Prizes and certificates will be distributed at the end of the Festival.
3. All participants will also be called to receive their participating certificates. The main goal of the Foundation is not based on winning or losing a competition, every participant is a winner. The important is to love music and continue playing their instruments.
